Is this the 2008 trip?

Last week on the Friday, the 13th (which May kept saying it's a bad omen!) we went on a trip down to PD, as an early Bachelorette's party for May. We as in the usual bunch of people - me, May , Xiu, Vky, Albert and the ever-full-of-surprises Chen Ling (she tricked me!!). Hmm did I just mentioned May's names 3 times in 2 sentences? Well, this trip is all about her! :P

Anyway where was I? Oh yeah, okay this post is not gonna be a long-winded account of the trip cos we didn't actually did anything much. Mostly just hang around in our hotel room. The funny thing is we didn't even step on the beach! Next holiday, we definitely need more time.

Let me share with you the most memorable moments of the trip:

We got the chance to see the sunset and it was spectacularly beautiful. Just taking a time out of our busy hectic life and enjoy the natural beauty of nature. During dinner, CL said she wanted to watch the sunrise the next morning and plan to wake up at 6.45am (she ask the hotel staff what time is the sunrise there). Ask everyone if we're interested, some said yes and some said no.

Then, Albert made a remark, "I don't think you can see the sunrise and sunset at the same place'. Silence at the table for 5 seconds. When everyone finally got it we started laughing at ourselves heartily! It was really the funniest unintentional joke ever!

At night we watched "Batman Begins", which some of us haven't seen before and it was pretty good. After the movie ended we all got kinda bored. So started thinking of a game to play and we thought of a game we always see other people play. Everyone pick a card and without seeing it stick it on our foreheads so only our opponents can see it. We're suppose to challenge each other on who got the lowest ranking card. Yet the game became complicated as we can't agree on the rules. At the end, May called Corey to find out the real way to play the game. Only to realize we have played it totally wrong! Each person were just suppose to guess what is their card sticking on their forehead. Sheshhh...

All and all it turned out to be a pretty fun trip! It's always great when we can get everyone together and go on a trip somewhere. As years passing by, it's getting harder - geographical wise, time wise and money wise to do this. So just enjoy while we still can people!
